Shafaq News/ The leader of the Shiite National Movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, called on Tuesday for the “expulsion” of the American ambassador to Iraq.
Al-Sadr said in a long post on his page on the “X” website that Israel is “a settlement entity that has expelled the owners of the homeland and is eager to expand east and west, all with the support of American dementia and with all insolence and injustice.”
He continued, “Therefore, I repeat my demand to expel the American foolishness from Iraq and close the embassy through established diplomatic methods without any bloodshed, in order to show our character and peacefulness in the face of their terrorism and insolence. This is more harmful to them and more deterrent than the use of force, so that they do not have an excuse to destabilize the security of Iraq and its people.”
He called Al-Sadr; “The Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Arab League to take an active role in ending these massacres and attacks on our people in Gaza by the Zionist enemy,” and he added, “Enough of our silence.”
