A former member of the Finance Committee, Abdul Hadi Al-Saadawi, revealed, on Wednesday, that there is agreement to replace Al-Kazemi as soon as possible.
Al-Saadawi said, in a statement to the “Information” agency, that “Al-Kazemi’s survival is currently a matter of time and no more,” noting that “there is a Shiite consensus with the other parties to replace him with a figure who is acceptable to all.”
He pointed out that “there is no return to discussing the renewal of Al-Kazemi’s mandate at all, because the matter has become a thing of the past, and the Shiite forces in the coordinating framework have rejected any dialogues in this regard.”
He pointed out that “the alternative personality will be first chosen and recommended by the Shiite forces, and that the leadership qualities and criteria set by the Shiite forces will be fulfilled in agreement with the rest of the forces.”
It is reported that sources close to the government house revealed, in news leaked through the media, a Sunni-Sadr agreement to renew the granting of the second term to Al-Kazemi.
