Rafidain Bank announced on Wednesday that it had opened 29,727 savings accounts and 1,717 current accounts during the current year.
The bank’s media office stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that “Rafidain Bank announced the annual total for bank accounts opened in its branches in Baghdad and the provinces for the year 2025 until the end of November, under the supervision of senior management and according to approved operational data.”
He added, “According to the recorded indicators, the number of savings accounts opened in dinars and dollars reached (29,727) accounts, while current accounts reached (1,717) accounts, in addition to recording (644) deposits.”
The statement continued, “This reflects the expansion of the banking sector and the strengthening of structured savings tools.”
