(Baghdad: Al Furat News) The victory coalition, headed by Haider Al-Abadi, confirmed today, Wednesday, that there are no conditions guaranteeing the integrity of the electoral process.
“We are still far from the requirements that guarantee a fair and just electoral process,” the coalition said in a statement that the Euphrates News received.
He added, “The government, parliament, the elections commission and the United Nations mission bear full responsibility for the integrity of the electoral process, otherwise the elections will not witness broad popular and political participation.”
