A member of the State of Law coalition, Saad Al-Muttalabi, revealed today, Wednesday, that the political blocs are engaged in the process of diverting the attention of the street from the file of expelling the Americans, while he confirmed that the Sudanese will be presented as a victim at the end of the session for the survival of the Americans.
Al-Muttalabi said in a statement to the Al-Ma’louma Agency, “Most political blocs agree to keep the American presence in Iraq and what the government announces is for internal media circulation only,” noting that “postponing the discussions to work the committees until the eighth month is procrastination and procrastination by the government.”
He continued, “The presence of the Americans has become permanent in Iraq, and the government will not be able to do anything to end the American presence according to the data,” pointing out that “removing the Americans from Iraq is a popular and political demand that has been ignored at the present time.”
According to specialists, the Iraqi government has postponed the discussions until the eighth month of this year regarding the work of the joint committees for the purpose of procrastination and stalling popular demands, despite the presence of a decision from the House of Representatives in 2020 on this file.
