Political analyst Haider Arab Al-Musawi warned of American, European and Gulf attempts to pressure the Sudanese government in order to ensure that Al-Kazemi is not held accountable and that his name is not associated with those involved in corruption and the crime of assassinating Al-Nasr leaders near Baghdad airport.
Al-Musawi said in a statement to Al-Maalouma, “The American position will not be absent in defending Al-Kazemi and with him from personalities involved in corruption and the assassination of the leaders of Al-Nasr, but such an intervention will not be a barrier to preventing the current government from proceeding with its procedures.”
He added, “Al-Kazemi has relations with a number of Gulf countries, Jordan and Egypt, and these countries will have a pressure position on the government with the aim of not holding this character accountable.”
And he stated, “There are American, European, and Gulf Arab pressures that prevent the former prime minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, from being charged without giving him a cover that prevents him from being held accountable.”
