State of Law Coalition advisor Abbas al-Moussawi considered the country’s continued lack of a budget a major disaster for project management and meeting citizens’ needs on Saturday.
Al-Moussawi said in a statement to Al-Maalouma that “a country without a budget cannot function properly, as projects stop and people’s interests are disrupted,” noting that “this matter represents a governmental and legislative failure that must be addressed quickly.”
Al-Moussawi added that “Parliament still has a chance to make its final mark before the end of its current term, especially since there is only one month left until the elections, and it has the right to continue holding its sessions until the results are approved.” Al-Moussawi pointed out
