Shafaq News/ The State of Law coalition headed by Nuri al-Maliki commented on Wednesday, on news that the Shiite coordination framework was under pressure to replace its candidate for prime minister, Muhammad Shiaa al-Sudani.
The representative of the coalition, Aref Al-Hamami, denied to Shafak News Agency, “there is pressure on the coordination framework to force it to accept one of the three candidates (Adnan Al-Zarfi, Haider Al-Abadi, Mustafa Al-Kazemi) for the position of prime minister,” explaining that “the names presented in social communication are general and unfounded. him, and the framework adheres to Al-Sudani’s candidacy.”
He added, “The current framework candidate has made great strides in preparing his government program, and the names of his next booth, and there is no retreat from his candidacy.”
Al-Hamami pointed out that “the issue of replacing the Sudanese is not on the table at all, and if it is thought of, the framework will announce that, after consultations between its main leaders, led by the State of Law coalition.”
