Al-Maliki invites international companies to invest in agriculture in Iraq

Minister of Agriculture Abbas Jabr Al-Maliki called on international companies and investors to invest in agriculture in Iraq.
Al-Maliki said during his participation in the International Investment Forum held in Rome, “The Ministry of Agriculture is working to develop and improve the agricultural reality and plant and animal processing industries in Iraq.”
He added, “Iraq’s participation in the International Investment Forum is a great opportunity to promote and develop agricultural projects and activities in all governorates.”
He pointed out that “this participation allows obtaining various international loans and grants that will push the wheel of agriculture in Iraq forward.”
