Political sources revealed on Sunday that the political blocs informed Prime Minister-designate Mustafa Al-Kazemi that they would nominate him with three names for each ministerial portfolio, on the condition that he choose one of them.
The sources said, “A meeting was held last night in the home of the former Prime Minister and leader of the” State of Law “coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, in the presence of a number of leaders of Shiite political blocs, and the blocs informed Al-Kazemi of his candidates’ rejection of quite a few ministries, and reserved them to other ministries.
He stressed, “Al-Kazemi was informed that she would nominate names for him through which he would choose who he wanted from them, by three candidates for each ministry.”
