The political analyst Sabah Al-Ugaili called, on Monday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani to change all the accumulations created by former Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, stressing the need to change all personalities close to Al-Kazemi, including Ahmed Abu Ragheef.
Al-Ugaili said in a statement to “Al-Maalouma”, “Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani certainly needs time to make changes to all the accumulations created by Al-Kazemi, whether under American pressure or within agendas that harmed the state and the political process that he practiced in the previous government.”
He added, “Al-Kazemi’s accumulation is represented by bringing personalities imposed on him by the US administration or subordinate to Al-Kazemi, within an agenda that harmed the state and the political process that he practiced in the previous government.”
Al-Ugaili called on the Prime Minister to “remove these personalities, including the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Lieutenant-General Abu Ragheef, because their survival will put sticks in the wheel of the Sudanese government, as well as its continued implementation of the external and internal agenda hostile to the political process.”
An informed source had revealed, in a previous statement to “Al-Maalouma”, that an external intervention aborted the dismissal of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Intelligence Affairs, Lieutenant-General Ahmed Abu Ragheef, by Interior Minister Abdul Amir al-Shammari.
