Al-Kazemi stressed that his current visit is the second in a short period, in order to continue work at the border outlets, and Umm Qasr port is one of the most important of these ports, along with other ports, which are a true artery in support of the country’s economy and commercial movement, and we do not allow any case. He explained that “there is an increase in customs revenues and border crossings, thanks to the efforts of their workers,” stressing the importance of increasing state revenues from the ports and ports in which we are working to develop work.
With regard to the large port of Al-Faw, Al-Kazemi stressed, “It is one of the government’s priorities, despite the great challenges that the country is going through, but we will work hard to sign with foreign companies to start work in it.”
