Hussein Al-Karaawi, head of the Coordination Committee for the Popular Movement for the Belt and Road Initiative, believes that Al-Sudani’s efforts to reach power and renew his term are merely unattainable dreams.
Al-Karaawi told Al-Maalouma, “Al-Sudani’s efforts to reach power again and renew his term represent a dream that can never be achieved, especially with the rejection of this figure’s presence in power.”
He added, “The Iraqi people reject Al-Sudani’s presence again as prime minister, and there is popular resentment against his continued tenure as prime minister, especially after he joined hands with the American occupier.”
He explained that “Al-Sudani has gone too far in trying to win over the American side and has sought a law to encourage investment with Saudi Arabia, to grant Riyadh the Iraqi desert in Samawah, in addition to his normalization projects. Therefore, such a figure is once again rejected as prime minister.”
