Al-Halbousi’s party disintegrates…withdrawals from Taqadum in Anbar and Salah al-Din

An official source in Anbar Governorate revealed, today, Friday, the withdrawal of a number of leaders of the Taqadum Party, headed by the dismissed Speaker of the House of Representatives, Muhammad al-Halbousi, from Anbar and Salah al-Din Governorates.
The source told Al-Maalouma: “The figures withdrew from the party, due to Al-Halbousi’s behavior, which created classism and discrimination within the party, by assigning important positions to figures close to him and marginalizing others.”
He added, “The most prominent of those withdrawing are Ahmed Al-Karim, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry, and Sheikh Ali Al-Karim, a member of the Provincial Council, indicating that their withdrawal was against the backdrop of Shaalan Al-Karim’s withdrawal from the party.”
