Shafaq News/ Speaker of the Parliament, Muhammad al-Halbousi, met today, Tuesday, with the delegation of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, which is visiting the capital, Baghdad.
A statement issued by Al-Halbousi’s media office stated that during the meeting, developments in the political situation in the country were discussed, and the importance of enacting the laws mentioned in the political agreement paper and the government program, including the oil and gas law and the amendment of the general amnesty law and others during the coming period.
During the meeting, the importance of continuing the dialogue between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government was emphasized. To solve problems in accordance with the constitution, according to the statement.
