The head of the Anbar Salvation Council, Hamid Al-Hais, confirmed on Saturday that he has evidence and documents that convict the Speaker of Parliament, Mohammed Al-Halbousi, of bringing in terrorists, indicating that he is not afraid of threatening him with the judiciary, which he trusts.
Al-Hais told Al-Maalouma Agency, “What we revealed through the media about Mohammed al-Halbousi’s involvement in bringing terrorists into Anbar, we are confident of it because we have evidence and documents that support what we said.”
He added, “We will not be afraid of Halbousi’s threat to use the judiciary, because his threat is an attempt to pressure us to back down.”
