Member of Parliament Bassem Al-Gharibawi stressed that political understandings and agreements will be the deciding factor in passing the remaining laws in parliament, noting the existence of popular discontent with the ruling parties due to their failure to find solutions to many crises and issues.
Al-Gharibawi told Al-Maalouma, “Political agreements and understandings will be the deciding factor in passing the remaining important laws in parliament during the remaining period of its legislative term.”
He added, “The citizen knows very well which political parties are obstructing and standing in the way of the approval and enactment of the important laws that the people are waiting for, and therefore the citizen is the one who will decide who he wants to bring back to power.” He explained
that “Parliament is still paralyzed, services are not up to the required level, the electricity crisis is still ongoing without any solutions, and the provincial budget has not yet arrived, in addition to many financial and economic problems, for which the ruling parties bear responsibility.”
