Today, Wednesday, the Al-Fatah Alliance expressed its rejection of the continued interference of the US ambassador in the internal affairs of government affairs, while stressing that the recent moves and meetings are tantamount to improvisation by some political figures in Iraq.
Coalition member Mahmoud al-Hayani said in an interview with Al-Maalouma agency that “the constitution and the law must be followed when meeting all ambassadors present in Iraq,” noting that “all the interventions of the US ambassador in the internal affairs of government affairs are totally rejected.”
He continued, “The recent moves and meetings are an improvisation by some political figures with the US embassy in Iraq,” pointing out that “there is a clear rejection of the US military presence in the country from all political forces.”
And he added, “The American embassy and all embassies have business related to foreign affairs between the two countries, and we will not allow interference in the country’s internal political affairs.”
