Member of the Fatah Alliance, Salam Hussein, confirmed that the dismissal of Parliament Speaker Mahmoud al-Mashhadani from his position depends on the seriousness of the representatives in collecting signatures to remove him from the council and restore the prestige of parliament once again.
Hussein told / Al-Maalouma /, “The issue of removing Parliament Speaker Mahmoud al-Mashhadani or not is linked to the extent of the council members’ conviction in this figure and his continuation in the position for the remainder of the parliamentary term.”
He added, “The continuation of the Parliament Speaker in his position or the move towards dismissal depends on the seriousness in collecting signatures from within parliament for the dismissal, otherwise the issue will be postponed, as happened with many of the canceled sessions that witnessed tension and tension, but were not leaked to the media.”
