Member of the Parliamentary Transport and Communications Committee, Ghassan Al-Eidani, revealed today, Monday, that the economic development project will be handed over to international companies.
Al-Eidani said in a statement to Al-Maalouma Agency, “Iraq is moving towards investment towards the path of development,” indicating that “global companies specialize in managing the transportation of the project.”
He added that “the project will extend to ten Iraqi provinces or more to develop the Iraqi economy towards the world,” noting that “the government attaches great importance to completing the project.”
He continued, “The project represents a promising future between Iraq and the countries of the world economically, security-wise and politically, and employs thousands of workers.”
