The independent politician Ibrahim Al-Dulaimi revealed, on Saturday, that the Prime Minister-designate, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, submitted a request to the political forces to delay the settlement of the candidates of five sovereign ministries, indicating that Al-Sudani had decided his position and set his sights on candidates to take over the Ministry of Defense.
Al-Dulaimi said in a statement to “Al-Maalouma”, “The Prime Minister-designate, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, realized that there were differences between the political forces and demanded that they take responsibility and not pressure him to choose failed ministers in the government.” He added, “Al- Sudani
asked the political forces to slow down in choosing the Ministers of Interior, Health, Finance and Electricity, as he will choose them by himself in order to bear responsibility for the failure of any of them and for the success of forming a national service government.”
