An informed security source said that dozens of giant transport planes landed at Ain Al-Asad Air Base, west of Anbar.
The source told Al-Maalouma, “Ain al-Assad base in al-Baghdadi district in the district of Hit, west of Anbar, witnessed the landing of dozens of giant planes intended for transporting fighters and military vehicles without knowing what these planes were carrying that covered the skies of the western regions.”
He added, “Ain al-Assad base has not witnessed such a downward movement in years, which is an indication of the existence of military action that the US forces may undertake in the coming days.”
He pointed out that “Ain al-Assad base witnessed an unusual movement of military transport planes, which landed inside the base building amid unprecedented precautionary measures.”
He pointed out, “The US warplanes flew heavily over the base building to provide security protection for those planes.”
