First Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Integrity Committee, Alia Nassif, revealed, on Monday, the intention of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani to take shocking measures regarding the dollar crisis, indicating that a specialized financial company had submitted recommendations to Al-Sudani to address the current crisis.
Nassif said, in a statement to Al-Maalouma, that “the issue of the rise in the exchange rate of the dollar against the dinar is no longer hidden from anyone, because it is related to external and internal reasons, and that the Sudanese government is working seriously to take measures to overcome the crisis.”
She added, “Al-Sudani does not have any objection to his attendance at the parliament dome, but he constantly informs the leaders of the political blocs about his steps to address the issue of the exchange rate, as well as a number of specialized deputies, provided that the hosting is with sincere intent and not to offend.”
Nassif explained, “Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’ al-Sudani will take strict and decisive measures, especially after he brought in a specialized financial company, to whom recommendations were submitted regarding addressing the crisis,” noting that “Sudani will work to flood the market and prevent random imports through which the process of smuggling hard currency takes place.” .
