Shafaq News/ A member of the Iraqi parliament revealed to the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan bloc, on Sunday, what he described as a surprise, after a meeting between the head of the “Union” Bafel Talabani and the commander of the Quds Force in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Ismail Qaani.
Fereydoun, a leader in the union and a former governor of Sulaymaniyah, said in his blog that “Al-Tawila”, the center of political decision-making, is a beautiful village located north-east of Halabja, and Paul Bremer mentions it in his book, where several meetings were held between the late President Mam Jalal and General Qassem Soleimani.
“Dozens of years pass for their successors to meet in the same place, and important decisions are taken, the surprise after the holiday,” he said.
This comes after reports revealed that Bafel Jalal Talabani, head of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, met with Ismail Qaani, commander of the Iranian Quds Force, in the village of “Twilla”, without giving further details.
