CENTCOM said via the X platform: “Thanks to the precision and professionalism of the US forces, the tanker M/T Kilo has today settled at the bottom of the Gulf of Oman, joining the Iranian Navy in the depths of the sea.”

For its part, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Navy announced that it had targeted three oil tankers that were taking an unauthorized route in the Strait of Hormuz and three American ships in response to the attack on the Iranian tankers.
