Jiyad said to the program {Before Suhoor} broadcast by Al-Furat satellite channel, “The evaluation of ministers is proceeding rapidly, and there are committees specialized in this aspect,” adding, “We will soon witness a change in some ministers, and this may happen after the month of Ramadan,” stressing that “Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani does not go beyond the political blocs, especially The framework and the coalition of state forces.”
He pointed out that “the government is trying to monitor the movement of money through governance, automation, and financial and banking reform,” noting that “some countries interpret the recovery of money and wanted persons as political targeting,” stressing that “strikes at the side of corruption will contribute to the pace of the summit soon, and countries of the world are fighting corruption by monitoring people, mechanisms, and the movement of money.” .
He noted that “Baghdad in the past did not listen to the governorates, but today it has begun to listen, and previously consensus was only made to form the governorate and then it was limited to the governor and the head of the council to pass projects and interests.”
Jiyad stressed, “Kirkuk receives international attention and may be a key to solving the problems of Baghdad and the Kurdistan region. The problem in the relationship between the center and the region is the constitution and the lack of transparency,” noting that “Al-Sudani asked the components to present scenarios for Kirkuk to form a new scenario.”
He revealed that “Sudani’s visit to Washington may take place next April, but no final date has been set for it, and there is preparation for it and a visit by advisors to Washington in this regard.”
He stated that “the visit will be very important and the relationship with the United States is very important,” pointing out that “the visit will discuss hot issues, which are the relationship with Iran, the armed factions, Iraq’s economic trends, banking and economic reform, political relations, and other files.”
Jiyad said, “The head of the Taqaddum Party, Muhammad al-Halbousi, does not want the Speaker of Parliament to be from Anbar to avoid conflict with him,” noting that “Badr al-Fahal, the governor of Salah al-Din, is wonderful in his morals and possesses good experience, and I am not afraid of his ability to correct the situation in Salah al-Din.”
The Prime Minister’s advisor said, “Retirees in the region are happy with the salary localization step and are waiting for its implementation. The Ministry of Finance can give an advance to pay the region’s salaries until localization.”
He added, “The Americans have begun to understand within themselves the necessity of withdrawing from Iraq, and they are in dire need of calm during the presidential elections next November,” noting that “the presence of the international coalition, the relationship with Iran, the factions, and economic trends are the most important issues that will be discussed with the White House.”
Jiyad stressed, “The government is in favor of scheduling the withdrawal, which is determined by Iraqi professionals, and within a year and a half, the American presence is supposed to be ended,” stressing that, “ISIS has ended militarily and politically, except for some small, scattered groups.”
He revealed that “the announcement of the company executing the Baghdad Metro project will be made on April 12, and the shortest lines will be completed in a year and a half,” noting that “the Al-Faw Port project will see the light next year 2025.”
