Shafaq News/ The Iraq Awakening Conference, led by Ahmed Abu Risha, said on Monday that influential members of the previous regime had again infiltrated the security services, calling on Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’a al-Sudani to get rid of them “mercilessly”.
A statement issued by the conference, received by Shafaq News Agency, stated that some of the opportunists who were influential in the security services during the time of the former regime; They infiltrated these agencies again by presenting false loyalties.”
And he continued, “I hope that the Prime Minister works to reform these agencies and rid them of these people and overthrow them without mercy,” stressing that “there is no immunity or exception for the corrupt.”
