Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi received on Saturday the head of the UN mission in Iraq Jan Kubic on the occasion of the end of his duties.
“The prime minister praised the role of Kubic during the last period in Iraq,” said a statement from the office of Abdul-Mahdi. “The situation of Iraq has changed for the better by liberating the entire territory, consolidating the democratic situation and forming a government that represents all the spectrum. ”
Kubic praised the Prime Minister and his government, stressing his confidence that this government will achieve great successes and move Iraq towards reconstruction and the provision of services and stability.
The Prime Minister handed over a commemorative gift to Mr. Kubic Tumina for his role as a shield in which the Sumerian guitarist represents Iraq’s historical depth.
