Resigned Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi announced the continuation of his government’s work until the next government is formed.
This came during a regular cabinet session today, Tuesday, headed by Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi.
A statement of his office, [where] received a copy of it, stated that “Abdul Mahdi confirmed in the opening speech of the session that the government continues its work until the formation of the next government,” noting that “the government has accomplished many works in various fields, foremost of which is achieving a wide increase in the cultivated areas And the production of grains as a result of supporting farmers and handing them their financial dues and the impact of the agricultural sector on industrial development, operating manpower, moving the market and encouraging local production. ”
The Cabinet discussed a number of issues and issued several decisions, including:
Agreeing on approving the recommendations confirmed in the minutes of the Diwaniya Order Meeting No. (57) for the year 2019 for the purpose of facilitating proper and disciplined customs issuance and combating corruption and developing attachments work and making ratifications easily and ensuring the flow of information taking into consideration the opinion of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers,
and Mr. Prime Minister was authorized to ratify On the recommendations after reviewing recommendation (4), this decision is implemented from 1/1/2020.
The session witnessed the approval of the recommendations of the minutes (7 and 8) of the two Diwaniya Committees (45) 2018 (63 of 2019) to follow up the implementation of the Council of Ministers Resolution (8 of 2019) regarding projects to establish 400-bed public hospitals, taking into consideration the opinion of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers according to a memorandum Legal Department.
The Council approved the issuance of the first amendment system for the year 2019 of the Internal Security Classes Regulations (2) 2012, which was revised by the State Council from the Internal Security Forces Service and Retirement Law No. (18) for the year 2011, with the exception of the flight badge.
The Council approved the recommendation of the Ministerial Council for Energy according to the following:
Approval of the Dhi Qar Oil Company borrowing an amount of (265000000) dollars only two hundred and sixty five million dollars from the Iraqi Trade Bank [TPi] for the purpose of implementing the expansion project of the Nasiriyah oil field with a capacity of (100) thousand barrels / Daily according to the conditions, provided that the payment of the loan amount and interest from the returns of the aforementioned project is (10) million barrels every two months (1/6) of the production of the oil field through the Oil Marketing Company at the declared official price, and a text is included in the project Federal Budget Law for the fiscal year 2020 for the purpose of covering the above In paragraph (1).
The minutes of the Central Cancellation Committee at the Ministry of Oil were approved regarding the cancellation of a vehicle for a Tatra type shield belonging to the Iraqi Drilling Company, whose details are specified in the car and vehicle write-off form with a value of 6 million dinars only because it is consumed and cannot be used and the economic ineffectiveness of repairing it.
