Confirmed the Prime Minister, Haider al-Abadi, Iraq’s obligation to pay Kuwait compensation only $ 4.6 billion was left, as “a decision internationalist duty implementation”
Ebadi said, “The Kuwaiti government provided Baghdad with information on missing Kuwaitis, noting that Iraq will be fully prepared to end all files with the State of Kuwait.”
He added that “Iraq and Kuwait succeeded in restoring balance to their relations.”
For his part, he said the Kuwaiti ambassador to Iraq Salem Zamanan, said that the position of Kuwait fixed in the security of support and unity, sovereignty and stability of brotherly Iraq without interfering in its internal affairs, pointing out that the number of agreements and memoranda of understanding signed between them reached 53 by the positive atmosphere and a firm desire and goodwill.
The Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi visited Kuwait last Wednesday during a regional tour that lasted three days and included Saudi Arabia and Iran as well.
