Follow-up – and babysit – Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi vowed not to provide any challenge in next year’s budget.
According to a source familiar with today, that “al-Abadi pledge when meeting Finance Committee not to make any appeal to the Federal Court on the budget next year.”
He added that “al-Abadi agreed with the Finance Committee on all items added in the original budget.”
The prime minister Haider al-Abadi discussed in the presence of a member of the board of the Presidency of the Council of Representatives, Sheikh Hamoudi with the Finance Committee’s budget in 2016, stressing that the real resources of the country fell by 60%.
Abadi said during the meeting that the constructive dialogue between the government and the House of Representatives that would overcome the problems and challenges, particularly in the preparation of the general budget of the country process
