Prime Minister Haider Abadi, announced the approval of the Kurdistan region on the delivery of oil in full to the federal government.
“The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) has agreed to hand over all oil to the central government,” Abadi was quoted as saying during his participation in the Davos International Economic Forum in Switzerland.
He added that “the reconstruction of Iraq may cost the country more than $ 100 billion, and it will require continued support for Baghdad to reduce oil production,” adding that “the only way to proceed in the reconstruction of Iraq is to attract foreign investment.”
