Shafaq News / The Central Bank of Iraq sales of hard currency rose slightly today, Monday, to $ 7 million.
The correspondent of Shafaq News Agency stated that the Central Bank of Iraq witnessed during its auction for the sale and purchase of foreign currencies today a rise in its sales to reach 7 million 353 thousand dollars, which the bank covered at a base exchange rate of 1460 dinars per dollar, compared to Sunday, when sales reached 6 million 750 one thousand dollars.
Added; The sales all went to boost the assets abroad in the form of transfers and credits, while the dollars were not purchased in cash.
Our correspondent indicated that 4 banks have fulfilled the requests to enhance the assets abroad.
