Member of the House of Representatives, Muhammad Karim, counted today, Sunday, the step of the presence of the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani, to come to the parliament dome during the discussion of the 2023 budget, as “it will eliminate obstacles” to passing, while stressing that the latter is confident of the steps it is taking. his current government.
In an interview with Al-Maalouma agency, Karim said, “The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani, is ready to come to the House of Representatives to discuss the amendments and clarify some paragraphs in the event that the vote on approving the budget is delayed.”
He added, “With this step, Al-Sudani began to transfer the budget of items to performance programs on the ground,” pointing out that “the Prime Minister is confident of the steps his government is taking, especially in the current period.”
The member of the House of Representatives stated, “The step of Al-Sudani’s presence in the House of Representatives will accelerate its approval and will eliminate the obstacles that may stand in the way of voting on the budget after completing all amendments to it.”
And Karim stated, “Al-Sudani accepts all amendments that are not commensurate with the council’s visions in order to preserve the structure of the budget, especially the service side, which represents the core of the government’s ministerial curriculum.”
And the Parliamentary Finance Committee had set, at the end of next month, the date for voting on the financial budget law, confirming that there was an agreement to pass it among all parliamentary blocs.
