The reason why this law is very important is because this law…essentially provides payouts to the citizens of Iraq…Once this agreement is passed it allows proper distribution [of oil money] to the citizens of Iraq. They have been negotiating this law for almost 20 years…They do not do anything fast…The positive thing is we have a US deletion…has been going to Iraq for the last few month to…help them get this passed. The silver lining with the war in Iran is it’s putting a lot more pressure on Iraq to produce more oil…because Iran is at a standstill with their oil production… All these dominoes are falling into place.
