Silver and platinum prices hit new historic highs in financial markets on Friday, exceeding $75 and $2,450 per troy ounce, respectively, according to trading data.
According to economic reports, the price of silver futures contracts for March rose by 4.25% to $74.73 per ounce on Friday morning, while the price reached a record high of $75.485 per ounce during the trading session.
Meanwhile, January platinum futures rose 6.23% from the previous close to $2,414.5 per troy ounce, hitting a new record high of $2,450.7 per ounce during trading.
