Mohammed Toufan, a leader in the Coordination Framework, affirmed on Saturday that Iraq possesses all the capabilities that qualify it to rise to the ranks of developed countries, noting that the Coordination Framework is open to all political partners without yielding to any external pressures or dictates.
Tufan told Al-Maalomah, “The great challenges that Iraq has gone through in the past period are no longer obstacles, but have turned into strengths and solid foundations that can be built upon.”
He added that “the next phase will witness a distinctive strengthening of international and regional relations, as Iraq seeks to establish strategic partnerships with everyone in a way that serves its national interests.”
He noted that “the coordination framework is committed to working in a spirit of national unity, far removed from divisions, to achieve the stability and development that the Iraqi people aspire to.”
