The head of the Existence Movement, Mohamed Abu Saida, confirmed that the Sudanese will get a ministry in the next government cabinet after his presence was rejected as a candidate for the position of Prime Minister for a new term.
Abu Saeeda told Al-Maalouma that “the head of the State of Law Coalition, Nouri al-Maliki, refuses to grant al-Sudani a new parliamentary term after the problems and issues that emerged during al-Sudani’s time in power.”
He added that “Al-Sudani, through the seats his bloc won in the elections, will get a ministry after points are allocated to each ministry in the new government cabinet.”
He explained that “the coming period will see the allocation of points to each ministry, with these ministries being granted to political blocs based on their parliamentary seats. For example, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will receive 15 points, the Ministry of Oil 20, and the Ministry of Finance 20, while service ministries will receive 6-10 points. These ministries will be distributed either within the coordination framework or among all blocs holding parliamentary seats.”
