Former MP Fadhel Jaber predicted on Sunday that the new Iraqi government will be formed quickly after the elections, without delay or dragging the political process into dark labyrinths.
Jaber said in a statement to Al-Maalouma, “Most political parties agree on moving quickly to form the new government after the parliamentary elections next November.”
He added, “This desire comes to avoid entering into dark labyrinths regarding the formation of the government or creating obstacles to the progress of the political process. Therefore, everyone is determined to continue the political process and form the government quickly.” He explained
that “Iraq, its current situation, and the surrounding facts necessitate accelerating the formation of the new government after announcing the election results, as it is unlikely that the birth of the next government will be delayed, in light of the presence of many ruling files that necessitate the presence of a government in Iraq.”
