Director of the Iraqi Media Center in Washington, Nizar Haidar, revealed on Sunday that Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani sent a government delegation to Washington to inform it of his approval of normalization with the Zionist entity.
Haidar said in a statement to Al-Maalouma Agency, “Al-Sudani sent a secret and unannounced government delegation to the United States of America to discuss an offer presented to him, which included recognition of the Zionist entity in exchange for a second term. This visit came to confirm Al-Sudani’s approval of the offer and to move forward with the stages of normalization according to the timeframe set during the delegation’s meeting.”
He added that “Al-Sudani boarded the normalization train with the Zionist entity by realizing his dream of renewal for a second term,” indicating that “Al-Sudani announced his support for the Trump plan, which stipulates a two-state solution for Palestine and Israel, despite the fact that Iraq is neither concerned with nor aware of this plan.”
Haidar confirmed that “Al-Sudani’s delegation to the United Nations sided with the Zionist entity in not voting on the two-state solution resolution, amid the surprise and resentment of the attendees over the delegation’s position on the Palestinian issue and the paving the way for normalization with the Zionist entity.”
