Reuters revealed on Monday the volume of oil received by the Turkish port of Ceyhan from the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
The agency quoted two informed sources as saying, “The Turkish port of Ceyhan receives between 150,000 and 160,000 barrels of oil per day from the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.”
The Director of the National Oil Marketing Company (SOMO), Ali Nizar Al-Shatri, confirmed last Friday that the implementation of the agreement to export oil from the Kurdistan Region’s fields would begin on Saturday, noting that its revenues would go to the federal budget.
