In the name of God, the most gracious, the most merciful
((And give good tidings to the patient, who, when disaster strikes them, say, “Indeed we belong to God, and indeed to Him we will return.”))
God Almighty is true
With deep sorrow and grief, and faith in God’s will, we mourn the passing of the Alawite lady, the wife of the highest religious authority, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali al-Husayni al-Sistani, may his shadow endure.
On this painful occasion, we extend our deepest condolences and sympathy to His Eminence the Supreme Marja’, his two sons, His Eminence Sayyid Muhammad Reza and His Eminence Sayyid Muhammad Baqir, their esteemed family, and to the family of Grand Ayatollah al-Mujaddid al-Shirazi (may his secret be sanctified). We ask God to reward the deceased for her good deeds, to admit her into His mercy and forgiveness, and to inspire her family and relatives with patience and solace.
We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return
