A security source confirmed on Monday the deployment of law enforcement forces and the cordoning off of a demonstration in Nisour Square in central Baghdad, where participants demanded the cancellation of the Khor Abdullah agreement with the Kuwaiti side.
The source told Al-Maalouma Agency that “dozens of people organized the demonstration today, demanding the cancellation of the agreement,” adding that “the demonstration witnessed clashes with security forces who prevented filming and cordoned off the area.”
It is noteworthy that MP Amer Abdul Jabbar called for organizing today’s demonstration to demand the cancellation of the Khor Abdullah agreement with Kuwait.
