Member of Parliament Rafiq Al-Salihi affirmed on Wednesday that the withdrawal of the occupying US forces from Iraq will end the repeated Zionist violations of the country’s sovereignty, noting that the demand to expel the occupying forces has become both popular and political in nature.
Al-Salihi said in a statement to Al-Maalouma Agency, “Expelling US forces from Iraq will stop the exploitation of Iraqi airspace to target the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
He pointed out that “the presence of US forces and the Zionist entity in Iraqi airspace is an irresponsible act and a blatant violation of national sovereignty.”
He pointed out that “there is a growing popular movement towards the expulsion of US forces,” stressing that “there are governmental and parliamentary tendencies to support the Islamic Republic of Iran in the face of the clear attacks it is exposed to by the Zionist entity.”
