Shafaq News/ The Central Bank of Iraq revealed, on Saturday, the size of Iraq’s external and internal debts incurred during 2024.
The bank stated in official statistics reviewed by Shafaq News Agency that the size of Iraq’s debts in 2024 amounted to $54 billion and 601 million, a decrease of 2.94% compared to 2023, when the debts amounted to $56 billion and 207 million.
She added that the domestic public debt reached 85 trillion and 586 billion dinars at the end of June, up from 83 trillion and 80 billion dollars in 2024.
