Abdul Majeed al-Dulaimi, a member of the Sovereignty Alliance, warned on Monday of the repercussions of Kuwait’s foreign moves against evil states to gain their support for seizing the Khor Abdullah seaport and annexing Iraqi lands rich in oil and gas fields.
Al-Dulaimi told Al-Maalouma, “The Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry has opened secret channels of communication with the United States, Britain, France, and the Gulf states in a move aimed at gaining international support for its ambitions to seize control of the Khor Abdullah crossing, as well as annexing lands containing oil and gas fields.”
He added, “The Kuwaiti government promised the evil countries hostile to Iraq that it would reward them financially and grant their companies the right to invest in Kuwait with significant facilities.” He indicated that “the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry conducted secret talks between senior officials in the American and British governments in an undisclosed manner to support and gain support for stealing Khor Abdullah from Iraq, in addition to encroaching on border lands that contain oil and gas fields, despite the fact that these lands are of Iraqi origin.”
He pointed out that “the Iraqi Foreign Ministry is weak and incapable of protecting Iraqi territory from Kuwaiti and Turkish ambitions and has failed miserably to achieve any gain for Iraq.”
