Shafaq News/ A large turnout of citizens swept through the vicinity of TBI Bank in Sulaymaniyah on Tuesday morning, reflecting employees’ eagerness to complete the procedures for receiving their cards within the “My Account” system before the official deadline announced by the relevant authorities.
Shafaq News Agency’s lens captured a large gathering of citizens in front of the TBI Bank building. The agency’s correspondent reported that “most of those gathered came to receive their credit cards for the ‘My Account’ system, while others came to obtain registration forms.”
Nour al-Din Wali, an employee from the Garmian administration, told Shafaq News Agency: “We arrived in the early hours of the morning to receive the cards after the bank informed us that the procedures had been completed.”
He added, “The goal is to receive the current May salary, which is now linked to having an account card.”
Citizens continue to flock to banks across the Kurdistan Region, demanding simplified procedures and expanded services, especially as the deadline for employees to complete their procedures approaches.
The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) launched the “Hisabi” system to regulate salary distribution and enhance transparency in financial transactions. Informed sources confirmed that the Ministry of Finance has mandated that all employees complete the system’s forms before the 27th of this month, in implementation of Iraqi Federal Court rulings regarding the unification of salary disbursement mechanisms nationwide.
