Shafaq News/ On Saturday, the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad, expressed his hope that the outcomes of the Baghdad Summit would enhance Arab solidarity.
Bin Hamad said in a tweet on the ” X ” platform, ” We met today in Baghdad, at the 34th Arab Summit, which was held under regional and international circumstances that require Arab and international cooperation to resolve its crises.”
He added, “We hope that the outcomes and decisions of the summit will be reflected in strengthening our Arab solidarity and consolidating integration between our countries in all areas of existing cooperation,” indicating, “We thank the sisterly Republic of Iraq for its efforts in consolidating the bonds of brotherhood and its active role in supporting joint Arab action.”
Qatar’s Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani left the capital, Baghdad, a short while ago, without delivering his speech at the 34th Arab Summit. He instead met with Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani .

The head of the Bahraini delegation handed over the presidency of the 34th Arab Summit to Iraqi President Abdul Latif Rashid, who in turn declared the opening of the 34th Arab Summit under the chairmanship of Iraq .
