Shafaq News/ Iraq ranked 98th in the world, and 12th in the Arab world, in the Soft Power Index for 2025.
The United States topped the index, while an Arab country was among the top 10.
The soft power classification includes several indicators, 55 in number, including the economy, trade, international relations, science, education, culture, heritage, justice, media, sustainability, future growth opportunities, generosity, giving, technology, innovation, investment in space exploration, tourism, work, and many others.
The index list includes 193 countries, led by the United States, followed by China, Britain, Japan, Germany, France, Canada, Switzerland and Italy.
Arab countries ranks
The United Arab Emirates ranked tenth globally, fourth in the Future Growth Opportunities Index, fourth in the Generosity and Giving Index, and seventh in the Economic Strength and Stability Index.
