Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Friday he was ready to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin after completing a plan to end the war in Ukraine in cooperation with former US President Donald Trump. He stressed in his statements that “the US president has the ability to pressure Putin to end the war,” expressing his hope that Trump would provide assistance to Kiev.
The Ukrainian president also explained that his country might have to increase the number of army personnel to one and a half million soldiers if Ukraine is not accepted into NATO membership.
